Where does DSW Homes build?

We build custom homes within an 80-mile radius from our DSW Homes offices. That gives you land options near Galveston or Beaumont, Texas, Brick, New Jersey, Minot, North Dakota and Milford, Connecticut. We are an on-your-lot custom homebuilder so we are not restricted to one type of setting to build your home. We can build anywhere where you want, whether that be in the suburbs, city or a rural location.

Can I personalize my new home?

At DSW Homes we understand that you want your home to be unique to you. If you want to redesign the exterior, add square footage to your home, or add another garage we can make it happen. We offer a design center in both of our locations with a trained design team to help you customize your home according to your wants and needs.

Can I bring my own plans?

You bet! Bring your plans in and we will be happy to price them out or find one of our plans that can be modified. Starting with a DSW plan gives us the advantage of instant pricing, but we will gladly take the time to price your plans.

What selections do I have to choose from?

Come visit one of our design centers to see a large collection of sample materials. By showing you all that we offer in one place you can make all of your selections in one easy trip. And if we don.t have something looking for at one of our design centers, we.ll find it for you.

What is included in the price of the home?

Unlike other builders, we include in our base price everything needed to build a home on a typical lot. Our standards are considered upgrades by other builders. We are proud to say that we offer the best value in Custom Home building. Because each lot and location is different, lot specific items such as a well, septic system, or lot clearing are not included in the base price, but are quoted specific to your property. Contact the local office for a detailed list of included features.

How long does it take to get a price?

We keep current pricing of all our plans and standard upgrades. Pricing for your new home with your custom changes are normally done in less than an hour while you visit our design center.

Does DSW Homes offer any financing programs?

We work with our financial partners to offer a variety of mortgage options to suit your individual needs including: low to no down payment options, conventional financing with as little as 5% down, no PMI options, FHA, VA and Rural Housing (USDA) programs.

How long will it take to build my new home?

Our commitment to making your building experience a good one includes building your house in a timely matter. We pride ourselves in having the area's best building times, but we won't let speed get in the way of a quality home.

How can I find land to build on?

DSW Homes has worked hard to build strong partnerships with local Realtors who specialize in finding the perfect piece of land for you.

Can my land be included in my home financing?

Yes it can. Many of our buyers find land and decide on a DSW home at the same time. That way you can save money by purchasing both simultaneously.

How do I know if my lot is buildable?

DSW Homes has inspectors that will inspect your lot to review things like locating your home on the lot, your setbacks and locating your utilities.

Can you help with Neighborhood (HOA) approvals?

Some neighborhoods or areas have certain design requirements that limit what type of home design can be built there. DSW Homes can assist you in the process of getting your home approved for your property.
