Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP)

In response to the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Ida in Louisiana, DSW has undertaken a significant scope of work. Acting upon the directive of the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP), DSW has been diligently providing essential maintenance services for temporary sheltering solutions. This critical effort is aimed at facilitating Non-Congregate Sheltering (NCS) to ensure immediate and appropriate shelter for survivors until the implementation of FEMA's Direct Housing Program.

With an estimated 1,500 to 2,500 units requiring maintenance, DSW Homes, LLC has already serviced 1,000 units to date. This notable accomplishment showcases the company's commitment to helping the affected communities in their time of need. In recognition of their exceptional efforts, DSW Homes, LLC has been awarded a contract valued at up to $3,300,000.00.

Since November 2021, DSW has been actively engaged in this vital program, delivering their expertise and resources to aid in the recovery process. As the program continues, DSW remains dedicated to providing reliable maintenance services and ensuring the well-being and safety of those affected by Hurricane Ida.
