We are seeking an experienced, reliable and results-oriented Assistant Project Manager to augment its growing company. The Assistant Project Manager reports to the Project Manager. Candidate should be self-motivated, detail oriented, able to multi-task with advanced problem-solving techniques, proficient in communication skills with timely follow up, uphold high value for customer service relationships and exemplify integrity, passion, and professionalism. 

Please note that this is a full-time exempt position that does not qualify for overtime.

Travel Requirements

This position is based out of various regional field offices.  The Project Manager is required to travel to scattered lot sites within their region.

Job Functions

• Assist in the supervision of the construction and rehabilitation of homes 

• Maintain aggressive schedules on a daily basis

• Manage budgets for each project and generate progress reports

• Promote and ensure job site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately

• Assist in the supervision of the completion of punch list

• Work directly with homeowners

• Perform quality control inspections

• Read and interpret engineered plans

• Assist in the scheduling and coordination with subcontractors and suppliers

• Assist with permit applications and inspections

• Assist Production Manager with any other related duties as assigned
