Illinois Disaster Recovery Program (IDRP)
The Illinois Disaster Recovery Program (IDRP) services five villages in the greater Chicago, Illinois, area affected by severe storms as a result of Hurricane Ike in September 2008. Homes were damaged by wind and floodwaters, and funds were allocated to the program to provide for the rehabilitation of damaged homes, bringing them up to current building codes and allowing homeowners to live in safe and sanitary conditions.
DSW was awarded seven groups of homes in the villages of Skokie, Maywood, Bellwood, and Niles, Illinois, totaling 59 units with a contract amount totaling over $4M.
